Summary:

Full-time, hourly, up to 40 hours per week

$19.00 - $22.00/hr / based on experience

Mileage reimbursement for using your personal vehicle

This is a hands-on position working in the field to support all aspects of the on-site PV installation process, and we are seeking individuals with construction trade backgrounds who are comfortable with heights and have a knowledge of standard safety practices. We are open to training the right person if they have applicable experience and are passionate about the solar industry!

Responsibilities:

● Perform installation tasks as assigned by the Crew Leaders and Project Managers
● Assemble the mounting hardware and solar modules/arrays
● Perform electrical wiring of the solar arrays (AC and DC)
● Assembly of equipment along with properly sealing all roof penetrations
● Ensure that proper safety systems and equipment are used on the job
● Help manage and organize the work van
● Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
● Maintain good working condition of all Sugar Hollow Solar tools and equipment and treat them with care
● Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety
● Represent the company well in every way: Be honest. Be personable. Be caring. Be detail-oriented. And have fun.

Qualifications:

● Varied construction experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc. preferred
● Experience using basic hand tools and power tools such as sawzalls, circular saw, drills, etc. preferred
● Must have and maintain reliable transportation as well as a valid driver's license
● Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills

Requirements:

● Move equipment weighing up to 60 lbs
● Comfortable with heights and working on rooftops
● Climb ladders, stairs, works on rooftops and in stationary positions for extended periods of time
● Withstand working in extreme heat/cold for extended periods
● Kneel, crouch, crawl and work in tight spaces for extended periods
