Summary:

Full-time, hourly, up to 40 hours per week

$23.00 - $27.00/hr / based on experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff
  • Oversee, coordinate and manage all aspects of both the AC and DC sides of the on-site installation process in line with the Sugar Hollow philosophy and core values.
  • Mentor and coach staff while providing constructive and timely performance evaluations and feedback

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the completed system is functioning at optimal capacity and that all equipment is installed per specifications
  • Receive job assignments for residential (and some commercial) PV jobs from the Construction Manager
  • Coordinate your crews schedule and immediately communicate any schedule changes, including changes due to inclement weather
  • Manage daily workflow, materials, and safety protocols on the jobsite and resolve problems if they arise, all while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain close communication with the Construction Manager throughout the work day and report daily project progress or concerns
  • Identify and submit change orders to the Construction Manager
  • Assist other Crew Leaders with installation of their projects when necessary
  • Follow all inventory and tool check-out protocols for materials
  • Attend and complete all required trainings for new products, installation methods, and safety processes
  • Provide great service to our clients and your co-workers by being kind, personable, courteous, professional, and respectful

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Mastery in all aspects of PV installation
  • NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification is a plus
  • OSHA 10 Certificate
  • OSHA 30 Certificate preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Commitment to quality and craft
  • Lift up to 60 lbs
  • Stand/walk for extended periods
  • Comfortable with heights
  • Work in extreme heat/cold for extended periods
  • Kneel, crouch, crawl and work in tight spaces for extended periods
  • Job requires occasional travel and overnight stays
  • Job may require work outside of regular business hours
