Job Description Summary

Supervises, trains, and coordinates Company employees and subcontractors in regard to Company’s safety policies and procedures for on-site construction activities, both residential and commercial.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with management to further develop and maintain safety programs and policies
  • Inspect project sites and ensure safe working environments and appropriate agency compliance
  • Work with and educate employees and subcontractors in regard to regulations and best practices
  • Work with site managers to establish site-specific safety measures such as signage, staging, and emergency response plans
  • Conduct and/or coordinate on-site and in-office meetings for training of employees and subcontractors
  • Represent company during applicable project inspections by local agencies
  • Investigate incidents, complete and file incident reports, and adjust company policies as a result of findings
  • Perform costs analyses of safety programs and policies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field is preferred
  • Four or more years of experience in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards in the construction industry
  • Familiarity with drug testing policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of basic technical principles such as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with a team-driven mentality
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year – pay depends on experience

Job Type: Full-time
