The Field Sales Support Coordinator's main goal is to support the gap between the install teams, sales reps and customers in both trade and replacement settings. Length of training to be determined by specific market needs and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Job Site/Field Support- learn and be asked to perform opening checks and order verifications (OV’s) to ensure product is ordered correctly for installation.
  • Product Knowledge – Will need to know basic product knowledge (windows/doors, how to adjust, install screens, replace parts, etc).
  • Presenting – Learn how to present various products and services to customers.
  • Product Returns- The support coordinator trainee will be responsible for learning to read construction plans and possibly quote and order product efficiently to minimize returns.
  • Logistics- The support coordinator trainee will learn need date management that will allow the company to efficiently order, perform production and deliver product to our customers.
  • Installation Tasks – Will be responsible for checking and overseeing retail replacement and trade install tasks.
  • Liaison – Will bridge the gap between the sales reps, installers, and customers.
  • Time Management – Will need to be self-motivating, proficient in managing multiple calendars and efficient time management.
  • Must attend all sales meetings, company meetings and other mandatory scheduled events.

 


Work Hours:

  • Field Support Coordinator can expect to begin their day at 7:30/7:45am and finish between 5pm and 7pm. Some days may require earlier start times.
  • Night and weekend hours are sometimes required for OV’s, take-offs, general admin duties and planning as part of the training process.
  • Field Support Coordinator may be assigned other tasks and duties as deemed necessary by management.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel
  • College Degree preferred, but not required
  • Prior Construction experience preferred but not required
